Hi,
I'm Lis!
I am a public historian and researcher based in London, Ontario. My main research interests centre around Indigenous cultures and epistemologies, especially in relation to heritage conservation and Indigenous co-management of resources in national parks.
I have worked for a variety of organizations as an interpreter, researcher, and content creator. I am especially passionate for digital history and oral history, two loves that have combined into an interest in podcasts, sound design, and social media. I have created, produced, and sound designed for two podcasts while also contributing historical research to other podcast projects.

I currently work for Know History Inc, a historic research consulting firm based in Ottawa, Ontario.

In my spare time, I do lots of reading, writing, and keep busy with crafty projects! I also love the outdoors; hiking, camping, and backpacking are my favourite way to escape from the world. There is nothing I enjoy more than drinking coffee on chilly mornings in a hammock!
